Pegu Club: The Game is a worker placement card game with auction mechanics. Set in an alternate history version of 19th century Rangoon, the game features a city-building theme with political and economic undertones. The game is designed with fun as the priority, and secondly, to inspire gamers about the life, culture, and history of Victorian-era Rangoon, and how colonialism changed the world.
As the lead designer of the game, I was responsible for the iterative process of game development, as well as the layout and graphic design. I also worked with illustrators and artists, providing them with art direction.
